Frases esenciales para pedir y dar direcciones en la calle: cómo llegar a un lugar y cómo explicar el camino de forma clara en nivel A2.
1) Mapa rápido de frases útiles
Idea clave: combina una pregunta cortes + el lugar + algunos verbos de movimiento (go, turn, walk) y ya tienes una buena indicación.
2) Vocabulario básico de la ciudad
Algunos lugares típicos en direcciones:

Empieza SIEMPRE con cortesía:
- Excuse me. – Disculpe.
- Excuse me, sir / ma’am. – Disculpe, señor / señora.
Luego, haz tu pregunta:

4) Cómo dar direcciones (give directions)
Usamos el imperativo (verbo base) para instrucciones:
- Go straight. – Ve derecho.
- Turn left. – Gira a la izquierda.
- Turn right. – Gira a la derecha.
- Go past the park. – Pasa el parque.
- Cross the street. – Cruza la calle.
- Take the first street on the left. – Toma la primera calle a la izquierda.
- Take the second street on the right. – Toma la segunda calle a la derecha.
También puedes conectar varias instrucciones:
Go straight and then turn left.
Ve derecho y luego gira a la izquierda.
Turn right, go past the traffic lights, and the bank is on your left.
Gira a la derecha, pasa los semáforos y el banco está a tu izquierda.
5) Preposiciones de lugar útiles
Sirven para ubicar el lugar final:

Diálogo 1 – Preguntar por el banco
A: Excuse me, where is the bank?
A: Disculpe, ¿dónde está el banco?
B: Go straight, then turn right at the traffic lights. The bank is on the left, next to the pharmacy.
B: Ve derecho, luego gira a la derecha en los semáforos. El banco está a la izquierda, junto a la farmacia.
Diálogo 2 – Preguntar por el parque
A: Excuse me, how do I get to the park?
A: Disculpe, ¿cómo llego al parque?
B: Go straight for two blocks, then turn left. The park is in front of the museum.
B: Ve derecho por dos cuadras y luego gira a la izquierda. El parque está enfrente del museo.
