Saludo y presentación Good morning, everyone. My name is…
It’s a pleasure to be here today to talk about…
Good afternoon, everyone. My name is Ana Pérez, and I’m here to talk about remote work and productivity.
Propósito Today I’d like to explore…
The aim of this presentation is to…
What I want to do today is…
The aim of this presentation is to examine how remote work affects team communication.
Overview / agenda I’ll start by… Then I’ll move on to… Finally, I’ll…
There are three main points I’d like to cover…
First, I’ll briefly outline the current situation. Then I’ll look at some recent data, and finally I’ll discuss a few practical recommendations.
Normas para preguntas Please feel free to interrupt if you have any questions.
There will be time for questions at the end.
I’ll be happy to take your questions at the end of the presentation.

En contextos formales, evita empezarlo todo con “I’m going to talk about…”. Varía con “The aim of this presentation is…” o “Today I’d like to…”.

Introducir el primer punto Let me start by looking at…
First of all, I’d like to focus on…
Let me start by looking at how our customers’ needs have changed.
Pasar al siguiente punto Moving on to the second point, …
This brings me to my next point, which is…
Now let’s turn to…
Moving on to the second point, I’d like to discuss the challenges we face.
Volver atrás / retomar As I mentioned earlier, …
Going back to what I said before about…
As I mentioned earlier, flexibility is crucial for employee satisfaction.
Cambiar de tema That’s all I wanted to say about…
So much for…, let’s now look at…
So much for the theory. Let’s now look at a real example.
Resumir una sección To sum up this part, …
So, what we’ve seen so far is that…
To sum up this part, remote work can increase productivity, but only if communication is well managed.

Marcar una idea clave The key point here is that…
What I’d like you to remember from this slide is…
This is particularly important because…
The key point here is that motivation, not technology, is the main driver of progress.
Introducir un ejemplo Let me give you a quick example.
For instance, in our last project…
To illustrate this, let’s look at…
To illustrate this, let’s look at what happened when we introduced flexible hours.
Hablar de una diapositiva / gráfico If you look at the chart on the left, you can see that…
This slide shows the evolution of…
As the graph indicates, …
If you look at the chart on the left, you can see that productivity increased after the first month.
Volver a la idea central So how does this relate to our main question?
Bringing this back to our central point, …
Bringing this back to our central point, these results suggest that training is essential for success.

Entrar en la conclusión We’re almost out of time, so let me conclude.
To wrap up, I’d like to highlight three main points.
To wrap up, I’d like to highlight three main points before we move on to questions.
Resumen final First…, second…, and finally…
Overall, what I’ve tried to show is that…
Overall, what I’ve tried to show is that remote work can be effective, but only if communication and expectations are managed carefully.
Abrir preguntas Thank you for your attention. I’d be happy to take any questions.
That brings me to the end of my presentation. Are there any questions?
That brings me to the end of my presentation. Are there any questions?
Responder y pasar a la siguiente pregunta That’s a great question. The short answer is…
Does that answer your question?
Any other questions?
That’s a great question. The short answer is that we don’t have enough data yet, but early results are promising.
Cerrar definitivamente If there are no more questions, I’d like to thank you once again for your time.
Feel free to contact me if you’d like to discuss this further.
If there are no more questions, I’d like to thank you once again for your time and attention.

Si no entiendes una pregunta, puedes usar:
“I’m not sure I understood. Could you rephrase that, please?”

  • Frases demasiado mecánicas o repetidas: usar siempre “I’m going to talk about…” y “Now I’m going to talk about…”.

So… yeah… next slide. This is about the results. And here you can see… um… more results.

Mejor C1:
Let’s now turn to the results of our study. This slide shows the overall trend, while the next one focuses on differences between age groups.

7) Mini-práctica

    a) ________, I’d like to explain why we decided to change our strategy.
    b) ________ the second point, I’ll look at the main results.
    c) ________ this part, let’s briefly summarise what we’ve seen so far.
    d) ________ a concrete example, let’s look at last year’s data.
    e) ________ time is running short, let me move on to my conclusion.
Escribe 2–3 frases de signposting para presentarla, usando expresiones como If you look at…, As the graph shows…, The key point here is….

1) Good morning, everyone. Today I’d like to talk about how apps can help us learn languages more effectively. The aim of this presentation is to show why short daily practice can be more powerful than long, occasional study sessions. I’ll start by looking at how these apps work, then I’ll present some data on their effectiveness, and finally I’ll discuss a few tips for choosing the right app.

2) a) To begin with… / First of all…
b) Moving on to… / Let’s now turn to…
c) Before we move on, / So much for this section; to sum up…
d) To give you a concrete example…
e) Since time is running short… / As time is running short…

3) If you look at this graph, you can see that sales steadily increased from January to June. As the graph shows, the most significant growth happened in April. The key point here is that our new strategy seems to be working.

4) We’re almost out of time, so let me conclude. Overall, sales have increased consistently over the last six months, and our new approach is clearly having a positive impact. That brings me to the end of my presentation. Thank you very much for your attention – I’d be happy to take any questions.
