Prepositions problemáticas (at/in/on – tiempo y lugar)

B1 - Intermedio · Unidad 4: Cohesión y precisión léxica

At, in y on son pequeñas, pero dan muchos problemas. Aquí verás sus usos clave en tiempo y lugar, con trucos visuales para recordar.

1) Mapa rápido

Tiempo: at 7 o’clock on Monday in July / 2024 in the morning at night on the weekend Lugar: at the station in London on the bus on the wall in the room

Truco visual (tiempo):
• at → punto exacto ⏱
• on → día / superficie 📅
• in → contenedor grande (mes/año/periodo) 📦

Piensa que in es “dentro de algo grande”, on es “sobre una línea o superficie” y at es “punto concreto”.

2) Tiempo: at / in / on

night es especial: normalmente at night (no: ❌ *in the night*), excepto en usos literarios.
