Expresiones de frecuencia
Sirven para decir con qué frecuencia ocurre algo. Aprende su significado y posición en la oración.
1) Adverbios de frecuencia (mapa rápido)
always ≈ 100% usually ≈ 80–90% often ≈ 60–70% sometimes ≈ 30–50% rarely/seldom ≈ 10–20% never = 0%
Otros: hardly ever (casi nunca), occasionally (de vez en cuando).
2) Posición en la oración

| Énfasis (a veces) | Adverbio + coma + sujeto + verbo | Sometimes, I work from home. |
Ojo: never ya es negativo. Evita la doble negación: *I don’t never* ✗ → I never ✓
3) Expresiones con every / on / times
- every + periodo: every day / every week / every morning
- on + días: on Mondays / on Friday nights (en habla informal “on” se omite: “I work Mondays”)
- once/twice/three times + periodo: once a week, twice a month, three times a year
Colocación flexible: inicio o final de la oración: I go to the gym every day. / Every day, I go to the gym.
4) ¿Cómo preguntar? — How often…?
How often + do/does + sujeto + verbo (base)…?
- How often do you study English? — I usually study at night.
- How often does she exercise? — She rarely exercises.
5) Contrastes y errores comunes
