Verbos en Inglés

Stance & Hedging (apparently, arguably, tend to…)

Aquí ves cómo usar apparently, arguably, tend to, it seems, may, likely… para sonar académico y natural.

1) Mapa rápido

Stance = tu postura/opinión Hedging = suavizar/moderar afirmaciones Adverbios: apparently, arguably, probably Verbos: seem, appear, tend to, suggest Impersonal: It seems that…, There is evidence that… Boosters: clearly, certainly, undoubtedly

Strong claim: Social media are destroying relationships.
Hedged claim: Social media may be damaging some relationships.

Direct: I think this policy is wrong.
Más académico: It could be argued that this policy is problematic.

In my view…
